Battle Axe

Just finished this after 2 weeks of working on it, the pics aren't very good but the project came out very well.

Blade; wrapped and hand forged 5160, 7 1/2 inches long with a 5 1/8 inch
cutting bit, spike is 4 1/2 inches of 1084, overall head length is
11 inches. Cap spike is tri-bladed forged taper file.

Haft; 24 inches of carved Paduk with an oil finish.

Fittings; 24 gauge twisted copper wire, copper sheet and plate.

Overall legth; 26 3/4 inches.

Wow...sometimes I wish I had the tools and talent to do that. Is the haft bent?

Aquire tools slowly and practice, and yes the haft has a forward bend to it.

that forward curve should give it incredible chopping potential of course if someone were to actually use that they should be slapped.
