hello. i was inspired to make a tomahawk, here she is. the head is 8" long, made of 1/4" 1084 via stock removal. i put a "rose thorn" on the underside, it will work good for hooking onto clubs, spears, wrists and ankles. the fittings are mild steel. all the metal parts were given patina. the 18" curly maple handle was torched, stained and finished with tung oil. leather protective covers. thanks for taking a look !

That is a brilliant design! Nice work.
Is the blade just friction fit in there?

Edit: Im guessing that pin goes through
The blade

Great job and the handle is artwork in and of itself.

Very purposeful, nice pictures and minimalist leather....nothing more to ask for.

As everyone else has said and I will jump in too, that is one cool design and awesome craftsmanship.

Artistic and mean at the same time. Nailed it!

Tempting to suggest posting over in the Axe, Tomahawk, and Hatchet subforum, but if it isn't an antique flea market spruce up, they don't seem to have much interest over there.
