I ordered one of these BHK Fieldcrafters last week, it's a new model from them with a very comfortable looking contoured handle and scandi blade. I'd like to know if anyone's gotten one and what they think.
Don't have one but I like the shape of the handle. If you close your hand about halfway you discover that at the thumb and forefinger it is the most open and tapers more closed towards your pinky. Very few handles match this shape but the BHK seems to follow this natural contour.

I noticed the same thing. It looks more comfortable than their Bushcrafter knife or the Spyderco Bushcraft which stay very thick and straight at the end of the grip, zero taper after the palm swell. I find this uncomfortable with some prolonged use. Probably ok for guys with huge hands but not me.
This handle's fundamental shape is very close to the Fiddleback Forge Kephart which is at the top of my wanted list. Sold my Spydie Bushcrafter for this as I think I'll like it more and it will hold me quite nicely till I find the right Kephart at the same moment that I have $300 to spend on a knife. Which is not often.
These have the potential to get pretty popular I think, especially at their price.
