Im looking to get a BHK and looking on youtube for reviews, i have a question, why does it seem like BHK doesn't get talked about as much as LT Wright does? I dont know the full history of the two brands involvement, but theres seems to he a lack of talk about them.

When Blind Horse Knives shut down, Dan and LT went their separate ways and started their own companies. That’s the history at a glance.

Why does LTWK seem more popular? As a fan I’d say it’s their community involvement, their own forum, their weekly and monthly custom specials, show knives, annual gatherings, etc. That and the knives are really good, and as a customer there are lots of opportunities to order a custom knife to your liking with a much greater variety of handle materials.

Ok thats a good simple explanation. I appreciate that. So there is no negativity towards BHK just LT having a broader scope.

not to my knowledge. I am a member of the LTWK Pout House and have never seen any negativity towards Battle Horse. The old Blind Horse Knives are held in very high regard as well.

Ok well thats good to know. Not having much knowledge of them myself, its nice to know i wouldn't be supporting a company with a bad reputation.

I have knives from Blind horse knives when they were together and they are fantastic. As others have stated….. no negativity there. Just went their separate ways…. With that being said.

LTWK knives are fantastic at well as battle horse knives. They have similar variations that have their own touch on them. Can’t go wrong with either.

The local shop carries them and I have handled a bunch of them but don’t own one. They’re generally not super flashy but seem to be very solidly built. If you’re looking for a solid user I think they’d be a good choice.

John and/or Alicia and some of their crew attend the annual show the shop hosts and they seem to be nice people. My table was directly across from theirs the year before last so I spent a lot of time chatting with them.

I think part of my curiosity is that you cant buy an LTW on DLT and they're gone as soon ad they drop. There is a good bit of BHK products.

I’m local to them, and I’ve owned a few of each. In my opinion they both made and make ok knives but nothing special. I’ve never understood what the excitement about either company was. A lot of the smaller knife companies really take advantage of the limited quantity panic buying. Both companies offer similar products but I don’t think either makes anything to write home about.
