First of all, I am not a Busse expert. I have a BM Ergo that I like, and would like to keep, but it needs some help in order to function for me. The slabs are too thin, I do not like the finish, and the sheath is not too hot. I have read on this site of a fellow named Ban who can correct the probs with the knife. I would like the knife to have a satin finish with magnum slabs. I am also looking for a good Kydex shealth. What are your suggestions, and how do I contact the modifiers?

Ban is a member here, you can contact him through Forum email.

I think he is accepting work again.

Another option is to contact Garth at Busse Combat. They can do mod work, and it will preserve your warranty. (If anyone else does significant reprofiling of the edge, it may void the warranty.)

After you get your modded knife back, then send it off to one of our Kydex benders for a custom fitted sheath. steelnut, David Brown, grandsuave, rainwalker all work in Kydex.

Good Luck!

Why not call Busse first? They can add liners to beef up the handle or rehandle your blade but you won't have the same kind of handles.
As far as stripping the finish off to make it satin....... there may be INFI dimples under the coating which would require milling to remove it all. I don't think Busse will do that for you. I'm sure someone will chime in if they do this.
Kydex..... Buy Brown (David Brown) and Mashed Cat (Grandsauve) come to mind and are both members here.

Sorry to hijack. Anyone know if the Ergo's came with mags? I have a NO-E, that has thicker grips than both my SH-E and BM-E.

Nope, the Ergo's did not come with mags per se. You may have some that are thicker than average, but it was not an option or common.

If I were you I would send it in to the Custom Shop. Preserves the warranty and resale value.

Garth can and will do all of your desired mods. Okuden is the best for hard use kydex.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did not know that Busse would work on it. I stripped the finish off with paint stripper. This also taught me just how tough Micarta is, as it did not even phase it.

Already said above. The Busse custom shop will do anything you want with a pretty quick turn around. It will keep the factory warranty, and plus you will be giving work to the Company we all love. If their turn around is not quick enough, Ban is expert at what he does. Some of the best edges and finish work. He does great work.

There are others who do great work too. Others will suggest different names.
