I am posting this e-mail here to ask Mr. Jerry Busse how can I buy a Busse Battle Mistress and receive it here in Italy. This because a very dear friend of mine decided he wants a Busse Battle Mistress. So he told me to ask for help.
Mr. Busse, can you please tell me if you can sell a Busse Battle Mistress in Italy, its price (shipping by UPS or DHL to Montevarchi, near Florence, Italy with insurance included or not included) and the time that will occur to have it? I know it will take some months (three?) at least to have one Battle Mistress.
There is only a problem: this friend of mine is quite HUGE. 6 feet 8 inches tall (or 2,03 meters), and well built, not fat, only big. A normal person seen through a magnifying glass. His hands are BIG too. So, because it seems every Battle Mistress is made only after the order, is it possible to have one with a wider handle? It means, is it possible to know the dimension of the handle (its lenght, its thickness and its width) and eventually increase it a little? For example, this guy can't stand Cold Steel knives, because his hand wrap two times around their handle.
I'll ask how he could have the Busse Battle Mistress to an European Internet Knife Shop, to NorthWest Cutlery (Leslie Ireland, a nice guy) and to OneStopShop (Mike Turber, the BladeForums owner) too, just to know where it is easier, faster, safer (and cheaper) to buy this knife. And if it is possible to have a larger handle: this is an important concern for this friend of mine.
