Battle Mistress Sheaths?

Ordered my satin/black canvas Anorexic Fusion Battle Mistress last night after waiting 10+ years to do so!! While it will most likely join my collection as a fondler, I would like a sheath that matches the knife's bomb-proof qualities. I'd also like to avoid leather and kydex. Leather tends to require care over decades and I can make kydex myself. I'm usually a big fan of Spec Ops, but they only make sheaths for blades up to 8". What are some other solid options to consider?

Thanks!

I appreciate the replies. Was going to put a caveat in there about not mentioning places that were out of business/only available one the secondary market.

Again, thanks, gives me a few to look into! Feel free to keep them coming!!

Apparently folk here are not good readers. Try and address his question. I do realize that there aren't many alternatives.

Was thinking the same. I guess if there are no non-kydex/leather options, as a compromise I can look at hanger options so kydex with webbing/etc. hangers that allow the pommel to be below the belt and allowing for more flexibility. Kinda like my CS sheaths.

Thanks

I would love a Spec Ops style sheath as well. One thing I have done is add Esee pouches to kydex, but again not the same...still looking

I do have my Canvas covered kydex Mutants if you decide to go that way or if that interests you let me know :)

I can also add my ringed dangler to give you the ride height you are after.

I did order an ABM last night :)

^^ David Brown's canvas-covered kydex is the most bomb-proof option I can think of. Then wind a layer of paracord around it.

Seems like a kydex hybrid/dangler is going to be the only option. To be honest, that really surprises me. I figured with the following Busse (and other knife makers have) there would be more variety than just leather or kydex.

Thanks for the replies!

There are wood sheathes and carbon fiber. With and without linings.

Maybe ask on the Sheath Forum?
