So i can get the JYD 2.2 cp for 70$ new or i could get the zt 0700 for 90 new. Is the zt worth the extra 20 bucks or no? What do you guys think because i think im going to go for one of these blades.

I don't have the 2.2, I have the 2 and to my knowledge the only difference is the copper brazing pattern. I would honestly say it depends on what you're looking for in a knife, I wouldn't imagine one wouldn't handle heavier tasks than the other. Aside from that it become a preferance of mod drop v tanto and D2 v s30v. I prefer D2 but that's just me.

Both are good deals.
Which do you prefer?
I would probably go for D2 if we compare steels.
However, to me, the JYD 2.2 has too much blade sticking out of the hand. So with that, the 0700 wins.
But I love the blade shape on the JYD and don't like Tantos.
It all depends on personal preference.

they both got pros and cons in the bladeshape imo. They would both do my tasks equally as well. Maybe the tanto would be a bit harder to sharpen tho.

don't have either of those -- have a Rake -- love the CPM D2.

I had the 0700. It was terrible for cutting cardboard. The JYD is better for EDC.
