Battle Rat showed up today

After 6 months, well weeks really(felt longer) my Rat showed up. First thoughts are, man this is a big blade, Nice lines, and probably the most comfortable handle I have held on a big blade. (compared to a mistress and trailmaster) Overall I am pleased with the knife and believe it is the best big knife for the money you can buy. And the warrenty speaks for itself.
 
I remember when my battle rat showed up, It was a nice quiet day. Then that bad ass trash talker came into my life. That knife just started trouble from the minute I opened it's box. It started destroying personal possessions, insulting my other knives and I think it tried to make a pass at my girlfriend While she's not saying anything, that Rat keeps smiling ever so devilishly. Carpet has been destroyed, boxes have been slashed and my feeling of well being in my own home has been ruined.


I love this knife.
 
I've yet to have a BR in my life, though I have everything else the Swamp has produced. I don't typically have use for big bowies, but I may give in a pick one up, just because it's been too long since a Busse box has come to my door. :cool:
I agree on the handle. I have a Cold Steel Recon Scout that used to be my heavy duty knife, and since I got the Camp Tramp the other has just been sitting, forgotten, in a drawer. I love the Swamp. :)
