Anybody have any footage, or photography of this beast in action? (Real use, not back saw)

Specific details in conversation works too.

Curiosity killed the cat, it just so happens the suspect is infi. Lol

.22 is kinda lean, Deets required.

Thanks you filthy hogs.

So far I have field dressed a dear and chopped on some stuff with mine

Also tested it out in the kitchen

Watching the vid of the saw was a bit painful. I guess if you had forever and a day to make the cut, it would be ok. The chopping side however is great.

It seemed like a lot of effort to get 1/2" down.

Guess I need to make a new video doing like Jerry said sawing up from the bottom.

Maybe you guys can take your Battle Saws and show me how ? I am no expert by any means :)

Keep in mind this is more for notching and where you can not chop than a saw replacement.

Also the O.P. wanted to know what INFI would do in the .22" configuration.

It's like a swiss army knife. The saw, or screw driver, or other tool on a multi purpose is never going to be as good as a dedicated saw, or screw driver etc.

It is there, if you ever need it in a pinch. Not so you can go buck boards with it, or turn a log into a cabin.

.22 is plenty thick in INFI.

I've said it before, but those notches are like 8 inches of blade catchers!

I had a saw back survival knife when I was a kid. The saw was worthless (really, no cutting action at all, just for looks).

I sure wish I had the cash to get one of these sawbacks and a knuckle guard mistress.

I have regrets this year!

Minor, but all the Battle Saws I've heard of being measured have been closer to .250" than .220" thickness. I would have preferred it to have been the .220" original spec but am still thrilled as-is.

You did fine. I tried to saw through green wood with mine, couldn't get very far with it. Possibly might do a bit better stripped? But I doubt it,,,;)
