If you picked up a Battle Saw, and have or can measure the thickness, please post the results along with the finish.

Specs were to be approx .220" but I recall one of the early recipients stating theirs was closer to .250".

My Battle Saw has the Desert Sage coating and is .247" thick

Same color, same thickness, 25.1 oz with micarta. It is exactly the same thickness as my old cgfbm... so can we get a cgfbs? :D

Mine is stripped, measures .235" (5.95mm), and weighs 1.55 lbs (701g) with black micarta scales

Cool. Thanks guys. It will be interesting to see how much variation there is in the thickness between blades and possibly coatings. I'll update my first post with the weight once I have a scale that can give an accurate reading.

black = 0.240"
desert sage = 0.243"

Will try & get weight measurements.

I have 2 Battle Saws. Both black coating with black canvas.

First one
1 lb 9.6 oz
.245" thick

Second one
1 lb 9 oz
.250" thick
I measured each like 10 times. Weird that ever so slightly thicker one is ever so slightly lighter.

^Probably cbt milling differences on the weight.

I posted this in the Battle Saw thread:

...

My Battle Saw measurements are:

11 1/8" blade (tip to handle scales)
16 1/2" OAL
0.243" thick INFI
2 3/32" blade height (saw tooth tip to edge, that's a tiny bit more than my NMFBM!!!)
734.2g (25.89 oz)

This one WILL go down in Busse history as one of the coolest, best Busse knives EVER made!!!  :D

Mine is Tanker Grey with Blue/Black G10. FWIW, my CBT doesn't seem to be nearly as deep as some FBM's I've seen.
