BattleRat Discontinued

Man that is crazy....sort of. I didn't get a battle rat....just a camp tramp. I will wait for whatever SWKW comes out with in the new year...

Maybe the next battlerat will be a resiprene E-handle drop point like the next generation BM's were. Then after those are done will come the Fusion Rat series with resiprene. hmmm interesting.

Cobalt, you sound like you are weakening to the force of the darkside, you dirty RAT!!!

...this one is not even sold on ebay yet and it's up to $200. Insanity!!
As the old saying goes, "If you think the cost of education is too high, try ignorance."

Not doing the research to learn the market value for the commodity is costing them. But I bet the blade will still outperform the driver. ;) :D

you're right about that. I would bet it stays at that price. The BR may well be worth that one day, but not today

People don't realize there will be many discontinued swamp rat blades up for sale for reasonable prices on the exchange forums once the improved new line shows up. It's always like that, I've seen it happen with busses.

When will that happen with the Busses?

;)

It happen when the hogs' urge for tons of beer is stronger than for infi. That's when the rats come and snatch great underpriced busses from them. Once those rats taste Infi, they never go back:D :D :D

Truthfully, I dont think I will be buying any more fixed blades from anywhere but Wauseon. Except maybe some customs.

it's amazing how one company (two company's actually) can foster such loyalty. It's the put up or shut up mentality. We know these things work, because We have seen it.

The only other knives that gain in value like Busse and Rats are Randalls and Brends. But Randall stands out because it is so famous. It is the Rolex of knives. Certainly far from the best, but decent and with a name made famous long ago.

Rat knives are already becomming collector knives and becomming hard to get.

Terry, I would agree. But Randall is still the highest in volume I would think. Even the wait for a new Randall is rediculous (unless you are a busse fan, then it's understandable:D ).

Custom1022, good one, but you must know evil in order to know what good is:D

I've been ruined. I used to enjoy my trips into the knife shop in the mall. Now..... :jerkit:

The folks in Ohio have taken that joy from me and replaced it with performance. ;)
