I was torn between the DOD UBE Auntie offered on Friday or a Bura Fox Folly that I saw else where. I finally decided in my own small mind that Bura Fox Folly's don't come along every day so after 4 days or so with no offers, I made an offer.
Wife made me go to the store with her 30 minutes before closing and I stalled all I could but alas the nose ring offers no sympathy.

Alas we got home, I sprinted to the computer to claim my prize only to find that some low down mangy Siberian Weiner Dog sniped me in the last 30 seconds.

Now I can't get it out of my head.

In a way I hope it was one of us here that scored it and will love it and appreciate it, in a way I don't really want to know.

Color me grieving until further notice.
 
Sorry to hear that! I can offer you my condolences. I get the feeling we will get to see a few pics of it on the forums soon, though. I just have this feeling.
 
Same story here Bawanna! my condolences as well:grumpy: That FF's short fat brother slipped my hands by a couple o clams too. I had some family drop in minutes before the end and was trying to say Hi while monitoring the puter and at the same time keeping my nephew out of my Khukri collection. Was a bad day for both of us i guess! Worst part of it is having to go to the grocery store and spend a bunch of money on a bunch a food and junk when it could have gone to a better cause like a Bura FF:D

Man! Spiral you got a good eye for these things! I saw this on the other site! Awesome details and complete! Glad to see it fall into the right hands! I dont think Bawanna has one of these old Khuks yet! Maybe thats what he needs to cheer him up:foot:

Thanks, I was lucky to get it, over a decade ago now, the small knives & pouch are replacement's not originals, from early 20th century.

Did you notice the reflections in the horizontal picture make the tip of the Kuk look like a shark face with a black eye and a black mouth?
