I've come across a bayonett
The only marking is on it is on the scabbard (T65)
It's a pretty long and skinny blade, which is sharp on one side and about 1/2 of the top of the blade is sharp as well, I guess you'd say double edge?
I'm sure someone on here must have some info on this knife.

Chinese T65 Rifle?

It was an Armalite knockoff and the bayonet was a knockoff of the US M7.

Thats my best guess.

SMLE bayonet, 17" blade, too long for a knife, too short for a sword. The 3rd German kept slipping of the end. Some dogging pig hunters liked them, up the pigs guts into the heart instead of battling thru the ribcage.

For a time, I carried a ZT-9 in a drop leg rig. Wore it everywhere. No problems.

While growing up, I used to get those catalogs that advertised fantasy knives, wall hanger swords, slingshots, blowguns, crossbows, and countless other things. Out of everything available in the magazines, what I wanted most of all was the M7 bayonet they advertised. I don't remember the exact reason that I wanted it, I just did wanted it. I made one out of cardboard because I couldn't have the real thing.

Finally I corrected that mistake a couple of years and got myself an M7 bayonet.

Since then I acquired an M5 bayonet for the M1 Garand, and the SIG 57 bayonet, all of them the genuine article.

The T65 is a Panamanian bayonet. The following info comes from worldbayonets.com

Knife bayonet for the 5.56 mm. NATO caliber Taiwanese T65 assault rifle.
These first showed up in the U.S., in small numbers following the invasion of Panama in 1989. Presumably, they were taken and brought home as souvenirs by returning U.S. troops. However, little hard information has been discovered around the manufacture and history of these bayonets.

The T65 bayonet is a clone of the U.S. M7, with an extra long blade. It is somewhat more crudely-made than US bayonets. Although the general appearance is that of a U.S. M7 bayonet and U.S. M8A1 scabbard, there are differences. In addition to being longer, the blade is more slender than the U.S. M7. At first blush, the scabbard appears to have a tip protector, like U.S. M8A1 scabbards. However, the scabbard is all plastic, just giving the appearance of a tip protector.
