Does anyone collect Bayonets or other military knives I have started adding these to my knife collection and I find these to be a very interesthing addition, Mike

I'm into military type knives as well. Sad to say that I really don't have anything special, though.

I try to buy whatever looks military whenever it comes out so my collection is slowly getting interesting.

I started falling for bayonets many years ago. Its the easiest way for most of us to appreciate the entire evolution of tought on thrust vrs. cuttting tactics compressed into a relatively short 300 yesr span. Virtually every pattern of utility/fighting blade from axes to shovels, kukries to daggers, ice picks to camp knives, found themselves incorporated into a bayonet at some point during this short history.

Well VG I dont any special either I am like you If it looks military I try to get it. I like the sites you sent me to. I have found a # at yard sales I have started going to the auction site a e-bay and yahoo. There are alot of military knives there if you dont mind doing alot of bidding sorry to say no uzi bayonets thanks for the info, Mike
 
My bayonets collection are left over from the rifles that I use to own. Canada is not gun friendly.

Unfortunately, military knives tend not to be as good as commercial or custom offerings.

Well not2sharp for some reason I find them very habit forming If I live during 800s I might have had a few of the long swords not to use I bleed very easy.
