One very inexpensive throwing knife I've made whenever the urge strikes me is cut down bayonets.
I sold them at gun shows a while back and have a good supply of culls that I shorten and throw on a slab handle.
These kniwes throw well. If you have access to the blades you might think of giving it a try.
Blades of junk bayonets can be found cheap if you shop the shotgun news.
A friend that throws knives introduced me to it. He used to just thow
them but started shortening them because it stopped breakage.
This might sound strange but these make some awesome throwers.
Try it.
 
I'll hafta give it a try. I've got a 20 dollar Mauser bayo that would make a killah thrower. Thanks again!
