Thinking about buying a WW2 Bayonet, just to add to the collection, anyone know what kind of steel they used back in the 40's for there bayonets...what is the steel used today?...come on history buffs this one is for u..lol

Any idea of nationality, make and/or model? Your question is a little vague. If it's a U.S. bayonet your looking to get, it's probably going to be regular carbon steel if it's a WWII-era piece.
