decided to give my SFNO a new face life this evening :thumbup:

here are two pics afterwards,,I didnt get a chance to make any before pics because i was pressed for time,, but it had a Satin Finish before It entered the operating room,,,and here are the results afterwards.

anyway,,,I just wished the pics had of came out a little better:grumpy:

yep,,,those scales were really oil and grim darkened from all the use i had put her through,,,before you could hardly see any of the texture in the scales, but now, those scales are as nice as they were when i first got her:thumbup:

I just glass beaded them,, :thumbup:

by the way,,,those are the Linen Micarta scales.:eek: :eek:

So if it was Satin, and then you gave it a bead job, wouldn't it now be a Double Cut?? :)

Schuey,, Thanks for the flowers :thumbup:

the Busse Double Cut finish is actually bead blasted twice after it has been polished to the Satin finish.. afterward glass bead blasted with a coarser media, and then blasted a second time with a finer glass media.;)
