This is a Big Boar Tusker bowie style. Thought I'd post pics while I'm working on it. This is the profiled blade ready for heat treat. It gets a brass guard. It's 13 1/4" overall with an 8" blade, 1/4" thick by 1 3/4" wide O1 steel.

Just about finished. Still have to make the sheath. Here's a shot of it glued up.

I'm drilling out the holes for the corbys. I've found the milling machine with a step drill works best.

This has to be the coolest looking Tusker yet. it has black micarta liners, 1/8" thick with brown canvas micarta on top, 1/4" thick.

Scott, that tuned out great! Could not be more happy with it. :D:thumbup:
