This will be my first kitchen sort of blade. A coworker has commissioned a Texas size brisket slicer. Forged out of 1084.

After many hours of hand sanding, etching and polishing the blade is done. I have a nice piece of walnut for the handle.

Finished up with walnut scales and stainless pins. Headed to a BBQ pit soon. I made a canvas knife roll to go along with it.

That came out really good.
Now, make a matching fork and a smaller knife with a 4" blade.
