BC finish on 20002 Microtech LCC?

I just got in a Microtech LCC dated 8/2002 with a black blade. I've read that MT used a BC finish starting in 2000, however this doesn't look like the bc on my amphibian. It's a dull black. Does anyone know for sure what it is? Thanks.
