Hi good people,
My latest, futuristic/fantasy fighter," PREDATOR"
Overall length 325mm(13"),blade length 195mm(7 3/4 "), Damascus steel(W2 &L6 ,stock Milan Mozolic ), fully heat treated to around 60HRC ,it has slightly convex grind with no secondary bevel, it's pretty sharp and pointy,24ct gold inlay makers mark
The guard (as well as the butt cap)is hand carved from ONE piece of W2 high carbon steel, the collar is W2 alternating with sterling silver,then copper...the wood is Turkish walnut root burl.. tang-through construction with a tang nut and butt cap over it..also, inside the handle there is lead counter weight to offset the big blade, so now it balances beautifully, right at the guard.The composite sheath is handcarved ,handlaced leather with sterling silver inlay...hope you'll like

Very cool. So much character it looks like it needs a pulse. I kept watching the handle to see if it's rib cage would breath.

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen,much appreciated 😉 The thought process /idea behind it started with a quick 30 seconds sketch on a napkin ...alien/monsters kind of thing ...and wanted to keep it organic,so it kinda looks like it's made from alien body parts....actually the word "bio-mechanical" it's a very good description of it,even if i hadn't thought of it lol
 
Haha yeah first thing I thought of, but I have some bio-mech tattoos so, yeah! Congrats sweet blade
