Attention Buck Collectors Club members!!!! How many of you plan to attend the BCCI 15 year celebration?

BCC 15 YEAR ANNIVERSARY - 2003

Plan now to attend the celebration of our club's 15 year anniversary! This memorable event is to be held at the Buck factory in El Cajon, CA July 16 - 18, 2003 (Wed. p.m. through Fri. noon).
Yes, it sounds like it is a long time off, but the time will pass quickly. You will not want to miss this great celebration. Those who attended the 10 year anniversary had a fantastic time. With the growth our club has experienced, we expect the turnout to be even bigger. There is no charge to club members and their immediate family members to attend. Please watch for reservation details in an upcoming newsletter.

Planned activities include:

Wed. p.m. - Welcome and catered dinner

Thurs. & Fri. - Seminars, factory tour, catered lunch (Thurs), Buck company store open,
swap/trade/sale event, knife auction, member collections on display, shopping trip
or similar activity in area for spouses

Submitted seminar ideas:

special order requirements
future products
use of advertising literature / literature swap
building a winning display
identifying handle materials
glossary of Buck knife terminology
Yellowhorse

SEE YOU IN EL CAJON!!!

Oh man, you all gonna be here again? I'll have to remember not to bring any knives in to sell. I'm still in remorse for selling one of my knives the last time... My only consolation is that I know it has a good home. That was the last knife I ever sold out of my collection BTW.

Seriously though.. it's good to hear you all will be on site again. I had a blast getting to know some of you last time, and I look forward to it again.

SO DO WHAT LARRY SAYS AND COME ON OVER!!!!

Larry

It will be just a short time before the get together. Brian and David Yellowhorse are planning to attend and do a seminar on their outstanding artistry done on the Buck knife. I hope that a few of the Yellowhorse collectors will also be able to display some of the treasures from the past and expectations for the future. David is a life member of the club and enjoys sharing his experiences with the club members. :D As with the knife, this experience should be another first class program for Buck Knifes and the Buck Collectors Club. I will see you there.

Silver Bear Gene :)

Larry,

You can count on me and my family being there! I wouldn't miss it for the world! If you are into Buck knives at all, it's opportunity of a lifetime.

Jeff,

Please bring some more of your knives to sell! I'm honored to have the last knife you sold! And I promise you it is in a good home!

Mary and I plan to be there. Sounds like it will be a lot of fun. No display though. Don't think I can get 40+ 110s through security.

Keep us all updated Larry (and John). I plan to be there and to bring some old catalogs to give away.

AS I just recently started a new job and have hopes of getting married next year, at this point I can't say for sure. The COLLECTOR in me tells me to be there. Finances and Vacation time will be the determing factors. I'll know more as we get closer and will keep you updated.....
