Hi all; on page 3 of the Club news is a picture of the 20th Anniversary logo, an outstanding piece of artwork and who ever designed this should be congradulated. There are so many things that can be done with this logo for the club the list is endless: for example a Special Club Knife with this etching on the blade, T Shirts, Jackets a Clock and the list is endless. This outstanding logo can and will do wonders for the Club. This should be a very interesting and exciting project for our great club. Gods Love and Blessings to all.

Larry,
I'm glad you like that logo. Stephanie from Buck worked with several BCCI guys to come up with it. Great job! :)

To add a bit to what Joe said, Stephanie took some neat basic ideas that Jack and Joan Foresman submitted to me and developed what became the final logo shown in the newsletter. We have some plans for using the 20 year event logo so keep watching your upcoming issues of the BCCI newsletter.

Pg. 5? ;)

That is very nice! Congrats to all who were involved. I look forward to seeing it in the future.

I like the one on pg 3...IIRC (Haebbie correct me if I'm wrong), "Ostertag" is "East + Day"...Easter Day??? :confused:

That might be an appropriate logo for a Buck knife... ;)

Hühnchen,

it is correct what you wrote.

Ost = east (geogr.)
Ostern = Easter (rel.)
Tag = day (cal.)
Ostertag = Easter Day (the "n" has to be left out)

The name, I think, means, that one forbear of the inhabitant was born at Easter or similar.

Hope that helps,
Haebbie
