bcci 112 fixed blade upcoming....i think i read

haven't been active here lately....got a family member in the hospital not doing well...my time outside of works been there, but thats not the point of this post......

saw new bcci newsletter......appears bcci 112 fixed blade in October this year


took a screen shot of it.....



looks like nice small fixed blade in elk I think. doesnt say much in newsletter on it. who knows the details on this? thanks.

As you said, not much information in the newsletter but it does say Buck is working on a sheath specific to this knife, so hopefully the sheath fits correctly and maybe has some 50th anniversary text / emblem.

I was hoping to see a fixed blade 112 this year. I'll get one of these for sure. Keep us posted when the ordering begins.

I'm probably one of the few that really liked the 101 fixed blade Hunter. Great in the kitchen. I guess this is a good size comparison, except for a clip blade.

I saw that email yesterday and as I was reading through the newsletter got excited after seeing that knife mentioned. Like you said, not too much information. I was actually hoping someone here would start a thread, so thank you!

Prayin for your family and that you're able to get plenty of sleep during this time. That kind of thing can take more out you than you realize at the time.

The idea of a 112 fixed blade is a pretty cool idea to me. I kind of see the 101 as a little too long and the 113 as a little too short.

Edit:
I think I'm wrong about this. The 113 and 112 should be the same overall length? I know the 112 blade is not as tall as the 113, so I would favor the 112 fixed in that regard.

I also like the 101. I'll probably get the (101.12 ) fixed 112. Hopefully it will have a stamped tang and not etched.
