Hello everyone, I got two 112's BCCI Water Buffalo Knives in the mail on Saturday... They are Beautiful... But both of them have a problem... When you open and close them, the blade rubs on the liner and it leaves rubbing marks on the blade... One has more marks then the other... One is real bad! ! ! And the other one has very little marks on the blade, but I know the marks will get bigger and worse as time goes on... Did anyone else have this problem with there BCCI 112's??? I did e-mail Joe but he hasn't got back to me yet about them.... These are my first BCCI knives too top it off...

Thanks

P.S. Sorry no pic's.....

is it circle marks at the bolster...
or is it rub marks else ware on the blade ...
some times one will get circle marks and nothing you can do..
that is why i store mine open at all times and dont close them ...
if you have to close then flush the joint and relube it with good oil..

Dave, it's about an 1/2" from the tip and in the middle of the blade... I wouldn't care about it if it was down by the bolsters, I can live with that...

well my friend you need to send them back! i have never had any rub that far down..
send atten to Joe and i am sure he will see to you being happy!

Well I guess everyone got mint club 112's but me.... Well there on there way back to buck, to get fixed... How long will that take??? Does anyone know??? Clint, did you look at yours???

Thanks

he got his but did not say to me on the blades
i think he may sell one...
he asked me if i wanted one...
but i only do 110's ( well and 111's)

Dave,

Tell Clint to take a look at them... He was going to call me back about them, but never did... He was getting ready to go out the door.....
I have no 111's, yet..... I just have some buck stuff...

I got the knives today and will do what I can to get them back in the mail to you this week. The problem is that the since the chip flint blades are all ground by hand, it is possible to leave them a tad too fat. That causes them to rub the inside of the case.
Well get them fixed up and back in the mail to you, along with the other knife, right away.
Thanks,

Joe,

Thanks for letting me know about my knives... I wish I could get this kind of help from other places I buy stuff from... You guys are Great at Buck...

Thanks Again for all your help,
Armand

Armand...Sorry Im late! Mine are both good...I couldnt be more sastified!!!!!!!! I think its the most collectable 112 made this year and a top 10 for at least 3 years! All companys have a few problems..but BUCK ALWAYS ALWAYS makes it right.

I saw one for sale for $250. but I don't know if it sold..... Jack is still waiting for some to get back from the custom shop... He had to send a lot of them back to get fixed....
And they are all sold out...
