Has anyone else received the BCCI 532 yet? Mine came yesterday and it's pretty cool. Interesting thing is that is has no nail nick.

The 532 is not the Club knife. It's a special project knife made for club members.
The Club knife will have the 14kt. gold ribbion on it.DM

Remember they always try to get the Club Knife out by late Dec..It has not been revealed yet, only roomers. This coming issue may reveal it.DM
Plumber, thats a good looking 532.

Thanks all, I really like it and when I received the newsletter, I jumped on that one. I've gotten hooked on the 500's now and I'm sending off my check for the special projects 500FG Duke today.

Plum,

I was glad to help you on that 500 infatuation:D

Yes you did and I thank you for that!:D I just got the Texas Star 500 with Rams Horn the other day along with a plain jane 1995 model in near mint condition. Now I just have to wait for the special projects one.

That Duke is a good looking knife.Has the 500 ever been offer with finger grooves before?DM

My BCCI 532 came with a sheath for a 500. Is that the way they all were? Do they make
a sheath with 532 stamped on it? I would probably get one if they do. It would be nice if it matched the knife.

Don't know about all, but mine came with the distressed brown leather sheath marked with 500. In fact, all my 532's except one came with a 500 sheath. That one (impala bone and burlwood) came with a leather pocket pouch.

I have a couple of cordovan colored sheaths that I purchased that are stamped 531, 535 & 550 that fit the 532 perfectly, but none of the 532's came with that kind. The sheath I just mentioned is the same design as the center one in the picture below.

The 532 is currently not in production, except for limited editions, and all currently come with sheaths that are stamped 500. The original production knives, back in the early 1990's, did come with sheaths that were marked 532.

Tin Sue is correct. In that same year he speaks of I have a 531 and the sheath is real dressy and nice. Different than the photos posted.Very thin with different stiching.I think
you'd have to get one of those sheaths from the 1990's.DM

Dave is right, Plumberdv has it bad, we may have to call for an intervention in order that he doesn't crash when he gets them all........

Great 532! But for what all those "bone/wood/bone" combinations? I wonder it with white bone only...
How good is 154CM?
