Save me some searching. Has anyone put together a list of all the BCCI knives? There must be a bunch of them since 1988. I know I have a number of them but curious to know what I've missed.

Ok, no one had a list so I started going thru newsletters starting at the beginning. When I got to the March-2006 newsletter I found this list thru 2005 already put together by Larry Oden.... darn, I could have saved some time....

this would be a great resource. I never paid much attention to them other than the few I bought. mostly I find out from y'all that they even exist. I don't seem to get the emails and announcements on them when they pop up.

the 120 recently I'd never known if it hadn't posted here.

in the end I'd be zero help on this as I know so little on them it wouldn't be useful.....but I do like the idear.

You might know from Facebook that I like making lists. I started going through all the newsletters and special project lists (especially to capture all the 112s). But when I got about half through, I lost steam. One contributing factor was that I was realizing how many 112s I was missing and probably could never afford to have - let alone even finding them.

How do you compile that list? Annual knives, Fund raiser knives, Award knives, knives made for club events, this list could go on and on! Would love to see one though.

I would love to see someone update the SO/LE list on the BCCI site. It kind of stopped after Joe lost interest or had no time for it anymore. I see that someone has added a bit more data but so much is missing.

Surely someone has done this already but I took a few hours going thru the newsletters and put together the first 20 years of Annual Knives and added it to post #1. If someone wants to throw some more years at me I'll add them to the list. I'm guessing I have about half of them. Like jb4570 pointed out above, I was surprised at how many BCCI knives there are other than Annual.

Before you get too far along, it'd be nice if you added the Buck part number as well. When I make lists, a good resource is worthpoint.com. if you search "buck knives bcci" you'll see 60 pages of results show up.

bertl bertl Thanks for sharing the picture. I was confused about the 531 and went back and looked at the newsletters. 531 Sawby was 1990 and 531 BuckLock-1 (non Sawby) was 1991. I corrected my list.

There is some inconsistency about the 531 Sawby.
The 1990 was a 531 Sawby; the 1991 was a 531, but not a Sawby. I have the 1991 as well as the 1990. The 1991 was a run of 500 knives. You'll have to wait for a photo of the 1991.

EDITED to correct that the 1991 was not a Sawby.

Not a bad idea. What started off as a simple request for a list I might make a project but will take awhile. Because these are BCCI knives all information is contained in the BCCI Newslettters so Worthpoint wouldn't add anything.

Are you going to include award knives?

I have a 929 Senior Skinner. I believe mine came from Dick Matheny, but I don't recall without digging through some notes. I feel like it was a Legacy knife and not a club offering. Mine has Chucks electric pen signature on the blade but no BCCI markings. I can get better pics if necessary.

Both the 1990 and 1991 knives were a 531 Sawby. I have the 1991 as well as the 1990. The 1991 was a run of 500 knives. You'll have to wait for a photo of the 1991.

In my collection, the 1990 531 was a Sawby. But the 1991 531 was a non-Sawby.
