If you are a BCCI member you should check out the new "Buckaroo News" posted on the BCCI website. It has an article by our own David Martin's daughter Sarah describing her Folding Alpha Hunter collection.

There's also an interesting article by Larry Oden about the date stamps and dots used to date Buck knives and explains the signifigance of the dots and why they were used. :thumbup:

Thank you . She's very calm about it just thinking about school . She attends a writers club, which I think they meet every other week . So, this may come up there . I'll keep all posted . Both my girls carry Buck's but this one is more serious and she enjoys writing about it . DM

I remember back in the 60's when I went to grade school it was no big deal to have a pocket knife on you in class..Now it's big news and your a terrorist or something! My dad could take a 22 rifle walking to school in Nebraska back in the 1930's and nobody thought much about it...

Was your Grandfather rich or something ... My Gradfather could not even discuss a pocket knife with my dad in the 1930's . As they were existing on rabbits . DM
