If you log in to Buck's Pro Site you'll see that your yearly, two knife discount has been renewed. The bad news is that there's not much that's available at this time and at least some of the prices have gone up.

Thanks for the heads up. You're right, the Hoodlum and Vantage Force Pro (the next two I'm wanting to get) are both listed as not available. Oh well. eventually they will be and I'll have the discount when they are.

I waited all last year for the Hoodum to be available, guess I'll have to wait longer. I do know that both the Vantage Force Pro and the Ranger 113 were available at one point, because those are the two I used my discount for last year. Both have gone up in price now, the Vantage by $2.80 and the Ranger $1.60.

Yeah, as I recall the Hoodlum was available on the website for maybe half a day or so before it went back to unavailable. I hadn't been keeping that close an eye on the Vantage Force but every time I did think to check it was either unavailable of I was tapped out money wise. Of course the way things go as soon as they are available and I use my discount something else will pop up and I'll wish I hadn't. IIRC the day before the Hoodlum made it's brief appearance I had finally used last discount for a Chariman series 110. Kind of a win some, loose some situation but with Buck I guess it's more a win/win, just both wins aren't in the same race.

It's about time Buck addressed the lack of available knives on the website.

I DID NOT buy my allotted two discount knives for 2011.......simply because there were not many choices early on and for the last few months there's been nothing worth buying (anything good was "NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE").

Somebody better bring that up in a staff meeting, because it's a real problem.

Amen! From your lips to their ears

Not an issue for me. I don't use the pro site at all. I live in CA and also get hit with sales tax.

So, I use one of the BCCI club dealers, I pay 10% above the dealers price, that is equal to the 40% off deal and I can buy any knife in the catalog. Your mileage may vary, but, now you have other options to ponder on;).

I'll use yours if you don't want them John! The Pro Site prices are mostly 60% off. I do have to pay tax, but the shipping is free if I buy $50 worth so that's a wash.

Plumberdv is right, too.......in a way.

There would be some great deals on that site if only they were actually available.

:)

I didn't know BCCI members had this benefit. How do I get to this site? I can't find it.

Go to Buck's web site. Look at the very bottom of the main page. You will see Pro Site at about the center of the page in small white letters. Click on that and it takes you to the sign up page.

It should have been in the paperwork you got when you first joined.

If you don't have it you'll have to contact the club to get it.

Where do I get the code...in the newsletter or online?

Send an e-mail to John or Jack Foresman. Their e-mail addresses are in the newsletters. I didn't get the number in my packet either and that's how I got mine.

I used one of the two to buy this set in 2010. It only counted as one knife.

Is this the only items that show up on the pro site Dave? The web specials page has more items that fit my style of knife buying. So.....Dave you can use my pro site 2x knives any time brother, better you use them than the discount goes unused!
