You may have seen this refered to in BUCKCUSTOM'S post on "Blade Show"

I am now taking orders for the Buck Club members name badges, introduced at the NKCA show in Covington, Ky. March 9-11.

A good way of helping promote the club and pass the word, if we all wear badges that identify us as BCCI members.

The badges are green with the Buck Knives logo, your name and member or life member number in white, compact 1 1/2" x 3" nicely rounded corners.

Badges come with a magnetic clasp instead of the pins that usually come undone and poke or fall off. Badges will be $6.00 + $2.00 S&H, and officer strips available at $1.00.

To order your badges, email me at:

fmnm514@home.com

I will e-mail or mail an order form asap.

We will be able to get them made as soon as I get 36 orders. Plenty of time to have them before the Blade Show.

Frank,

I was waiting on Joe to email me my daughter's membership number. I got it yesterday and put my order in the mail first thing this morning. I ordered 5 so hopefully you will be a little closer to 36 now. Thanks again.

Hi Frank,

I'll be sending you my order for 2 as soon as Mary's membership card comes in the mail. That badge you had in Covington sure looked nice and could probably hang a 110 from the magnet.

Thanks Joe! Getting Mary's number would bring Frank two closer to his goal. Between you and Buckcustom that should be about half of the 36 Frank needs, eh?

I'll get you mine as soon as Joe tells me what Mary's number is.

Perhaps some think these are only for the Blade show. These are permanent badges! You can use them year after year and they will still look good.

Good point Dave. Yes these are official club badges for us to wear to identify ourselves as proud Buck Collectors, and a display of unity.
Another idea is to order a second badge to place in your display, that's what I'm doing.

Well, no way am I making a blade show in atlanta, but if it's any help, I'll take a badge, and try to make Covington next year. With familyh in Louisville, it's only a LITTLE stretch to go to Cincinatti...

Thanks Al, every one helps, hope to get enough by the 12th of May to get them made
and shipped back by the end of May.
By the way, the NKCA show usually held in Covington, Ky. in October is being moved to a new place a little south-east of Dayton, Ohio, at the intersection of I-71 (Exit 50) & Rt. 68. It will be called The Ohio Show. (per the NKCA Gazette April 2001)

Right near the U.S. Air Force museum at Wright-Patterson AFB. Excellent place to visit if you are into military aircraft.
(Talking about the NKCA show near Dayton)

How are the orders coming, Frank? If I need to, I'll order an extra set for our displays.

Wow, less than a month now! We cannot wait to see you all again!!!

Dave, Thanks for the info on Air Museum, may have to schedule an extra day to go there.
Thanks for the extra badge order, getting real close, should have enough by Saturday.
You will still be able to order Badges at any time but this weekend will insure getting the badges by the Blade Show.
