Well, I got the motorhome packed up and ready. I'm leaving in a couple of hours for about a week at the lake with my three little dogs. No cell phone service or internet, just peace and quiet.

I have several new Bucks on the way that should be here before I get back, but my son may bring them to me at the lake. It's only 15 miles from here, so if I promise him a BBQ, he'll come for sure. ;)

Have a good time Plum-You can have your shipments forwarded to my address if you like-I'll keep em safe:D

nah,,,no way,,,,you will be back and forth a couple times just to check in here :D

Have fun! Wish I was going....

oh wait, I am headed to the hunting place tomorrow :D. The board will be glad to get rid of us for a while. :D

Hi Dave & Ratty,

You guys have a great time at the lake & hunting grounds. We'll be here waiting to hear all of those Buck tails when you get back.

That sounds like something I should do. There is a beautiful lake an hour and 20 minutes away from me. I was there day before yesterday, but a week...

No need to trouble your son with such a task. Just let me know where to pick them up and I'll keep 'em safe :D;)

Dave,
Have a great time! Hope it all goes well for you!

(Now maybe I can buy some Bucks on here without him buying all of them up!:D)

Don't fall in the water like I did today, it was a mite chilly and the durn trout I had on the line got away, cell phone survived in its zip lock sandwich bag......some days you eat the bear and some days he eats you..........300

Craig, Come on did you fall in? Glad you made it out O.K.

Have fun Ratty and Dave.Take some pic's if you can.

I sort of wallowed on the gravel waters edge, like the killer whales chasing the seals on the beach in nature movies.....and had a witness to the whole mess , who can't wait to spread the story. 300

Sure sounds nice! Of course anywhere semi-warm sounds nice to this place with all this snow D: Have fun.

I hope you enjoy yourself. That sounds like just what I need. It has been awhile since I have had a week like that.

Lake Nacimiento??
Lake San Antonio?
In fact, the world fly fishing record for a white bass was broken in 1981 at Lake Nacimiento. The fish was caught by Cory Wells, a member of the world famous musical group, Three Dog Night. The record stood for over 27 years.

It took me about 5 years of living on The Central Coast to be able to pronounce it correctly:eek:
At least I think I am pronouncing it correctly
I'm still not sure how to pronounce NIPOMO:D

Supposed to be "good" fishing there
I'm sure you have a buck knife to gut that trout!!
Right?

If you ever need a fishing buddy for Lake Cachuma===>
I got my Western "bird AND trout" knife at the ready!!!

You are missing out on the new web specials on the Buck website.

At least I now get a chance to pick through them before you buy out the store

Jaguar Kalinga, YES!
