be careful of hugging girls with Izulas.

:) Catchy thread title dont you think?

Just a random happening I thought yall might enjoy. I hugged a friend of mine tonight with my Izula on my belt (under my shirt, not noticeable to the eye) and when she felt the sheath and handle on my belt she got this weird look on her face and started trying to figure out what it was. I tried to pass it off as my cell phone, but when she felt the handle she wouldn't buy it anymore. she said "Is that a knife?!" and i said yes. Since she knows me pretty well she wasnt surprised. she just laughed and said "oh jake...."

Moral: if you have an Izula on your belt, make sure you only let people you know hug you. (actually i'd advise that for any situation when it comes to contact with another person :))
 
I hugged a girl with a D cell mag light down the front of my pants once. Man did that get a great reaction.
 
See, if I hugged someone and they didn't find my RC-4, they'd say "Where's your knife?"

And you loose man points for trying to pass it off as a cell phone.;):D

I am the go to guy in my family, "Tony always has a knife" Izula or RC3 sak hiker,Blade-tech PH, depending on the day of the week I have atleast 2 of these on me...

I wrapped my Wife's pink Izula with the Pink paracord you sent , Thank you ! She loves it !! LOL
 
I think one of the reasons people who know me don't hug me is that I always have a bunch of knives on my person.

That, and I generally hate hugs.
 
I sometimes have the same problem. Living in south florida, which as some of you know is a big hispanic area. There is alot of hugging and kissing going on, try explaining why you have a gun in your waist band. I usually do the off center hug. I am right hand so my gun is at say 3:20 ish, when they approch for a hug I simply step to my right alittle. that usually keeps them away from anything I am carrying on my right side.
 
I don't let people hug me, unless I really like them, which I usually don't want them to, they just do. Eventually people will be able to tell I don't like being hugged.

I'm with Inspector, wait till I get my CHL and people try to figure out whats on my waist. My GF doesn't like the idea of me carrying concealed, but she will have to get over it.
 
Ditto what LupaWolf said. My girlfriend carries a pink Izula, and I figured the thread title meant Jake was experiencing an unhappy significant other.

I was hoping this thread was about a girl ONLY wearing an Izula. I immediatly thought about the RAT girl. :thumbup:

That scene in spinal tap is pretty good lol. I think the only other one off hand that I can think of that is good is the Airplane scene where the terrorist with all the weapons goes through the metal detector without it going off and then a grandma walks through with the alarm sounding and they beat her up lol.

I wish I could carry a fixed knife without the fear of getting raped by the police in NJ. The izula is awesome though.
