OK I know we should not do this because some of us are just plain 'ole UGLY but I need pics of as amany members as possible.

I want a pic of you and your favorite knife or your whole collection for an article I have planned on "KNIFENUTS".

So email them or send them to us!

Send your static pics too:

Attention:KnifeNuts

Do not send a picture of a knife with "Balls" please

The term "KnifeNuts" should not be taken literally

Don't forget to include what kind of knives you have.... Brand, Model number and if you want a brief reason of way it is your choice would be cool.

Mike, are we supposed to use a particular email address to send them to you? Im gonna have my wife stop and get some film today, then scan it and send it to you. Cool idea Mike.

Just a thought to share: what with all the non-stnadard members of society (to put it nicely- think Meghan's Law), perhaps it would make a lot of sense NOT to post pictures that may include your children- the 'net is not always the nicest playground for everyone. I hope the meaning is clear.

Tim,

If you as a moderator so request, I will remove the picture of my daughter earlier in this thread.

However, I will continue to post pictures of my children elsewhere on the web. I will also let my children play outdoors in my hometown. I pledge to do my best to live up to my societal responsibility to make life extremely difficult for those who would do them harm.

Respectfully,

Does she play outside w/ the Khukri? I don't see any problems...

Ahhh- my intention was slighty missed I think. It wasn't a suggestion or a directive Howard, but more of a subtle warning. Some folks have gone ahead and posted all sorts of personal information on here, the newsgroup and personal websites, that is a lot more candid that a snapshot of one's child. Personally, I'd just hate to see one problem created by any inadvertant or less-than-thoroughly-thought-out post here or elsewhere. Feel free to post whatever you'd like as long as you're comforatble with it- that's why I couched it the way I did. Sorry if it came off as a "don't-do-this" kind of post.

Mike,

You've got my permission to use the one in the January '99 Spyderco thread I started in which I thanked Sal for the presento Military folder for being the first to post on the Spydie Forum. Spark linked it from within your server for me so it's readily available

Yup, I finally got my picture taken and dug up this old tread to post it. It's REALLY amateur and it was a last minute job, so THAT answers the low res. pic and why i'm "HALF" naked.
Rosanghal, here it is! Don't laugh, please!
The knife on your left is the Mad Poet that i've been telling yall' about and on your right is the famous MT Halo2!
Thank you all for looking. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=62061&a=447129&p=13082473&Sequence=1

Uhhhhh....
I was gonna post all my pics, butI just finished reading DW's post.

Keninshiro, nobody believes that you're "half" naked. We are all friends here and you're not the only one to bathe with your knives. I have some pics of me shaving my buttocks with an AL Mar Pathfinder.
Here it is: http://users.nac.net/fireprez/shavedbuttocks.j.....
Oh yeah, DW's post.
I almost forgot!

Sorry Mike, but I have a hard time being serious.... with a face like mine, you'd understand too!
In any event, I DO plan on having a pic of me taken, IN UNIFORM!
(whooop-dee-doo)
I'll even try and do that 250 word thing about a couple of knife stories in my EMS antics.
Leaving to shave my palms,
