Bead Blast Finish to Stone Wash?

Is this possible? I saw a video on Youtube of someone stone washing a blade and handles in a dryer. Just wondering if this would work on my Kershaw Groove's handles...

Yeah, it would work fine. Just give the handles enough space to move around with the stones. From what I've seen, people use coffee cans or something similar with a bunch of rocks ( I would probably use smaller stones for a finer finish) and soapy water. It might be worth it to put some flitz or metal polish in there, but I'm not positive it would help.

seen it done with WD-40, not soapy water, in a taped up peanut butter jar (plastic), wrapped in a towel or 2, no heat cycle

I did this one earlier today using the method described above:

I was going for a dark green on the dye job but came out almost black:

Same method on a Spyderco Persistance:

That persistence looks really good, Hatchetjack. As Hickman1 said, you might want to use WD-40 instead of water in case of rust (probably wouldn't happen, but you can never be too careful).

Didin't have any WD-40 but a shot of Tri-Flow worked fine as well. My next will be a Tenacious. Also, when done there is no edge left so be prepared to spend some time restoring it.

Nice looking job! I'm only doing the handles not the blade, the blade thank Kershaw isn't bead blasted.
