Bead Blast Finish

I have two CQC7As, part serrated, in bead-blast finish, both '99 production. I've never seen this finish on any other EKI knife.
Does anyone know many were produced?
No s#'s, btw.

probly not beadblasted. its more than likely eki's standard "satin" finish which is an applied finish just like the black.
 
All the production 1999 7A's and B's were bead blasted, and I believe all production 7's in '99 were serrated too. Not sure how many were made. I have some '99's with serial numbers and some without, not sure why. Maybe someone can chime in with that answer............ But in 2000 they started with the baked on satin finish blades.
