Bead Blasted Beauty BM

This one just got back from getting a thourough bead blasting at a local place, I am sure becoming attracted to the BB look! Too bad this one no longer belongs to me It was sold off before going to the BB, now that its back I am really in regrets! Nah, its the cash thats king right now. I just thought y'all would want to see this one done. It sure is a pretty thing now.....

Nope! Thats the nice thing, he did the whole thing intact. Now the handle tubes have a nice blasted finish as well. The Micarta doesnt show a bit of wear, except for a slightly gripier feel. Overall I am more than happy with the result. Now I just need to get a user with some serious miles on it and do this again!

Did you first remove the coating with stripper, or just start BB'ing it to remove the coating?

This has helped make up my mind that I am going to get a blast cabinet when things settle back down and we get back on our feet. Heck, it might be a heck of a way to make a little cash on the side for the "get my damn INFI back!!" fund I am really beginning to warm up to the idea of a bead blasted blade, scratch and mar it up, take it to the cabinet, BAM!! a new blade again!

Wet, Oh yea! Its really speaking to me now, gotta bide my time and get my hands on that cabinet and then Oh Baby!!!

I had a "user" SHBM. Saw this thread yesterday and brought the blade with me to work tonight. After 10 minutes in the Engineering shops' bead-blast cabinet I now have a SHBM that looks much like the BM-E. I will post pics when I get home tonight. It came out really cool. Now I don't feel so bad about selling the nice, shiny SHBM that I have
