Over Thanksgiving I ordered a new set of screws for my large Sebenza: they were getting a little stripped from a year of disassembly and reassembly. Given the option to try out matte-finished screws... well, I couldn't resist, and ordered the whole set (front and back, and clip screw).

Neat, huh? As my wife said, "it gives the knife an altogether more rustic feel". I find the juxtaposition of the custom silver thumbstud, polished blade, silver backspacer, and matte fittings to be quite appealing.

That looks good, I defo like them more than the polished screws.

hope i'am not being to nosey, but was that expensive? looks really sharp! btw how long will it last.(bead blast).

I have a small BG42 Sebbie from '99 with the old style clip and bead blasted screws. Don't know if they're original or not, but they still look bead blasted and I know the knife has been carried and used some.

@rolexkid: (I'm guessing CRK won't mind...) about $27, which includes the pins.

So far they seem undamaged from a few hours of table and pocket time :D I'll report back in a few months :)

Thats looks great man. So there avalible from chris reeves? wonder if they have any for the zaan

They're available from CRK. Might as well ask about the Umnumzaan... it's possible they'll just bead blast a stock set for you.
