Bead blasting a Boa?

Hi all, I just ordered a Kershaw/Onion boa with the colored handles. I love the design, but I'm not really sure I like the colors. I'll give it some time, but if I decide I can't live with them how hard would it be to bead blast the scales and reanodize them some other color? Maybe a nice dark blue or rainbow fade?

The beadblasting is easy but the anodizing is expensive. I wanted to anodize a small gun part and found that local anodizers have a $40 minimum. It would be easier and cheaper to get the black Boa and polish the blade if you don't like it black.

I feel that it is my duty to call the SCPA (Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) to report that you are asking, on the internet, for directions on how to Bead Blast a snake... What has this elusive Boa done to you that would make you want, or feel the need to, bead blast it? Please take the time to consider the fact that snakes, even boas have feelings, and are protected by laws in most states. I will give you time to reconsider this course of action before I report it. Please take advantage of this repreive and rethink what you are contemplating. I will await an appropriate (or inappropriate) response from you.
