Bead Blasting question

I have a spyderco military titanium, the surface of the handles are scratched up. I was wondering would it be ok to bead blast the handles, to get a nice finish. Also would could i damage them by blasting, i guess what im asking is i wouldnt mess up the threads for the pocket clip from the blasting? Thank you any help is appreciated
 
never done it but maybe you could put the screws in and sand blast with the screws in :confused:
 
I bead blast my CRK knives
all the time without any issues. I use ceramic grade glass beads at 60 psi and I've had no issues with threads or anything else.
 
Let me know how it turns out. I want to pick up a Ti military and will probably end up blasting the scales.
 
yeah definitely i got to wait until my uncle gets back from vacation cause hes got the bead blaster. I will try and get back to you in a week or so.
