Beadblast to a satin finish

I've been changing some of the bead blasted blades that I get using Scotchbrite pads. I can only get a "brushed" finish with this method but I want a more satin finish like Spyderco or Benchmade offer on their average knives. Do I need a dremel with a buffing pad? Can I give the blade a satin finish by hand? I could use some help on this. Thanks!

Try bringing it to hand rubbed satin at 600 grit or even 1200 grit if you're feeling really zealous then hit it with some polish to smooth the edges of the rub marks.

Got it. I used Scotchbrite to rub off the bead blast finish and then just a bit of Flitz with a cotton cloth. Very shiny now. I can't wait to try this method with other blades.
