Well I do love the light.
Here are a beam comparison of 6 lights. All have new batts. Duracell AA and SF 123
Short range is 14 feet to Gas Can and 22 feet to TARGET.....
Long Range is 29 feet to the target and 47 feet to the door.
Pics taken with a Canon A80, Time 6 seconds, aperture 5.6.......

All the lights are WOW in their own rite BUT the FENIX is cool for a inexpensive 1xaa light for ~ $45...

That Surefire L4 is very impressive! If I didn't already own an HDS, I would be tempted to buy a few of those flashlights :D
 
THe L4 was my fav bright easy carry light.
I think the Fenix may usurp it tho

I've got to agree with everyone here, excellent job. after much furious scrolling you've helped me decide to get a Fenix, it looks at least as bright as a QIII for a much smaller package. I never thought I'd be getting another AA torch, thanks.

I assume the Z2 has a P60 aboard.
 
That is very cool!! I admit to have flashaholism too!! I gotta get a Fenix!!
 
hmm, L4 looks pretty respectable. I guess I'll not be in to much of a hurry to replace it.

How some pix of the srobe mode on the Gladius. :p

All very different and all VERY powerful

Nice beamshots. Thanks for reminding my why I like my L4 so much! :)

The Fenix is a respectable little light, though. I'm gonna have to look into getting one of those.
 
I`ve done a quick search for online retailers. Not that to find. Geez, I`m a lazy turd.
