Bear and Son damascus sub-hilt

Has anyone handled one of these? I am not familiar with Bear and Son stuff, and so am not sure of the QC. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Bear and Son are known for its reasonablly priced but somewhat soft Damascus steel. The sub hilt is an attractive knife with an attractive blade. It's one way of being able to enjoy the beauty of Damascus steel without having to spend a lot for it. Lots of people also enjoy using it without guilt feelings because of its low price. I have three Damascus knives made by Bear and all three of them are beautiful.
