I went back to an older idea I fooled with experimenting with slip joint folder style using natural claws. Thinking this will work for large fangs wild pig tusks fossils etc. These are personal knives and can’t be legally sold. I learned some techniques using templates to know how to shape blade and where to put pivot and stop pins for each unique handle. I cut up circular saw blades for the steel. Did my usual acid etch work. I put a screw eye in the top of some so they can be worn as a neck knive. I use an allen screw for pivot so friction can be adjusted to suit needs or when wear lossens it up. It might give ideas to others on a way to create an interesting folder using teeth claws horns tusks etc. Contact me if interested in any more details.

That is cool! I bet is sits nice in your pocket - very handy design.

Very nice!
First thing that came to mind before I read everething was: damn, no way that will be legal where I live

pardon my french, but that is cool as sh!t. It seems like somthing my salty old scoutmaster would carry around.

Wow.
The knives are awesome, but I'm way impressed that you took a bear too!

If anyone who wanrts one can supply me with a legal bear claw, I can make you a folder knife from your claw. Usually you have to have hunted the bear, but laws on bears parts are state regulated and if you live in one of he legal states you can buy a claw. Since Alaska is not one of the legal states it cant come from Alaska.... except black bear just got legalized here.... but then it gets complicated. I need to work with a claw at least 2.5 inches. I've worked with Kodiak grizz claws as big as 6.5 inches.
