Bear Grylls Ultimate Knife

What do you think of the Bear Grylls Ultimate Knife. I got mine Friday and I think that it is a very sturdy and well made knife. I know that there were problems with the November edition knife, but I believe that the problem has been fixed. I would like your input on the 2010 and 2011 model knives.

I see the Bayley Bear Grylls S4 knock off on ebay now. I know its a fake, but damn do I LOVE aesthetic of it. Again, nothing to do with Bear (for the haters)... I just love the look of the knife. I just worry its a total piece of crap.

It is. the shape and look are the same, but when you get it in your hands it feels totally different. Bayleys handles look quite plain, but they have several different angles and planes that make it fit snug in your hand. The copy just has flat slabs with the grill gouged out rather than it being made by the surrounding G10 rising and getting thicker. On it's own it looks OK. Next to a real Bayley, it looks like a five year old made it.

Haha! Gotcha. Have you handled one of the knock offs? I always worried the blade would snap off while camping.
