I picked up a Bear sodbuster a while back and am not impressed with fit or finish. Shoddy. The 1095 thin blade cuts OK, but the handle is crappy along with the liners. Opens like a rusty car door.

I gave up on Bear and Sons years ago because of poor quality. Decent materials but IME good to lousy quality control.
