Anyway here goes...let me know what you think!
I guess the name could be a little more original but thats what came to mind on this piece.
Bear Slayer
Made from 1/4" edge quenched 5160 with a Scotchbrite working finish.
Full tang W/ full convex grind You can leave your razor at hope when you take this camping or hunting. 15" OAL with a 10" blade.
Stabilized Redwood burl. Keep seeing a dark spot on one of the pins, that is actually a reflection. It is mirrored.

I love these big guardless Bowies. That is a real nice knife. I love the way you did the really long clip/false edge (or is the spine sharpened as well?). I am really impressed with the improvements I have seen in your work since I first saw one of your knives.

How much forging are you doing now?

Hey thanks!
No forging at this time maybe in the future. Bowies may get fewer and farther between as I plan to concentrate on fighters for awhile.
 
Think I will do the next versions of these in a little thinner material. 5160 does quite well for this size blade though.
