I am a big fan of the movie "Big Trouble in Little China." When it came out I really wanted a Gerber Tac II. Unfortunately I was unable to buy one and they were later discontinued. I was browsing Smokey Mountain Knife works catalog and lo and behold there is a Bear Tac II designed by Blackie Collins. I'm pretty sure he was the designer of the Gerber Tac II. It appears to be a dead ringer for the original Gerber. The great thing is it is priced at only 44.95! Does any one have one of these or any idea of a comparison with the old Gerber?
