Nicely done! Did you slit and drift the eye?

No sir came as is in the first pic had to file out the eye a little and refit the haft came shaving sharp do think it's going to need a longer haft eventually . My first attempt using Aqua Fortis stain like the results except ended up spilling half of it. Anybody know how to clean this stuff up off linoleum ? ...LOL..

Nice to see you back my friend I might just take you up on that headed that way.

Ain't nuthin between me and you but 300 mile of I-55,you could be here in a couple hour's if you find a front door runnin the left lane

I've seen a couple of these Allen Forge hawks and they really appeal to me. How does the edge hold up, though? Is it comparable to a Scandi axe?

It has a Scandi grind haven't beat it yet but I did throw it a few times and hewed a small log no chips no rolls still as sharp as when I got it I use the Wetterlings for the hard stuff.

Here's my pillaging gear so far:

I also have a G2 River Witham Viking sword, a Himalayan Imports seax, another H&B Viking axe, and two CS Norse hawks.

Going to get one of those Windlass leaf bladed spears soon.

I think were both missing shields and a ship but otherwise you could always let me use one of your swords right?

I have a boat. 14' 1983 Sea Nymph aluminum canoe. My Norwegian Elkhound puppy wants me to carve a wooden dragon head for the bow so we can sail along the beach at the local state park and raid picnics.

Im in I live 2 miles from lake Michigan after we take the beaches we will take over the Midwest.

Needs to be done then we can work on the rest of the world how many oars can we fit on a 14 footer?

I've had four people in it before but we need to spare room for all the booty and tribute payments we acquire, and also room for the Elkhound.

We're gonna need a bigger boat.
