Bears, Big Knives and Balls !

Headed off out with Mrs Pit again while we left our son sleeping in his Pit after a late night X-Boxing !!!!

On the way to the beach Maisy suddenly lunged down the bank into the undergrowth nearly taking me with her !!!!

This was the reason, she can smell a bloody ball from miles away....

Once on the beach I checked around for Bear tracks.....

Mrs Pit had come prepared, she loves handling a big chopper !!!!

I wasn't so well prepared but I can't leave this damn TTSK alone !

No bears on the beach but we hadn't been back on the road long when we came across this guy.....

Now we needed gas and can you believe this was the only pump for miles around !!!!!

With gas in the tank we made it to a nice coffee stop......

Hey pit great pics as always. But if you dont mind me saying............ That pic with you holding the knife.. The sun sure is reflecting off your head lol... Great bear pic... Do you have any trouble with bears out there.

Glad ya noticed my head Sasha I'd spent hours polishing it this morning !!!!:thumbup:

Bears ain't that much of a problem but the coffee shop we stopped at is in Port Renfrew......

Great pics as always Pit, I'd be less worried about the bears than the Red Head with the big knife :eek:
 
Pitdog, it seems you're in love...with the TTSK! Has it left your side since you got it?
 
Cool pics, but are you sure you want to be hanging around with someone that can handle a knife that big other than yourself? :eek:

Oh man, I am a big fan of your photos!

One year ago around the same time I was in Port Renfrew, it's absolutely gorgeous there.
Also I remember filling up gas at the same gas station, obviously, as it is the only one around. It's located at the little harbour/campsite, right? When we were there, we saw about 10-20 Eagles at the harbour, many young ones among, waiting for some halibut.

I had plenty to smile about, great weekend spent with the wife without my son coming along and complaining all the time !!!!:D

Maisy spotted the bear straight away and her fur stood right up on her back, she did the same with another one that walked past our car so I don't think she likes em too much !!!!!
